Thanks Gon, good luck with renovating your place! For wood working, I’d go with a good hard wood floor. Had a few growing up, and they’re always durable, long lasting, and nice on the feat. Really big pain to do a refurbishment on though, so if you intend to live in a place 10-15+ years you may want to stick with something easier to replace like carpet.
One thing with AI data centers, if there are faster components coming out, won’t they want to replace the slower ram with the faster RAM? Data centers are depreciating assets. They inevitably will become obsolete unless they keep on top of updating their hardware to the latest and greatest tech. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Also with the rolling out of old hardware, wouldn’t that also mean when new hardware comes out that there would be a huge flood of older ram getting sold from data centers replacing the old hardware. Wouldn’t that be one solution to the RAM shortage.
Just so you know you said 64GB not 48GB on your RAM Flood incoming video. I realize one should not be too picky about the chance to win free stuff, but you probably want to fix that so viewers are not sketched out by that.
